Message from the Chair
The mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is to provide excellence in clinical care for women and contribute to the overall quality of care in the community.
To promote innovative research in human reproduction both clinical and basic that will expand the body of knowledge essential to the care and health of women throughout their lives.
To promote excellence in medical education at the undergraduate, graduate levels that will lead to the acquisition of skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality care to women and produce future leaders in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The department offers a dynamic combination of patient care, medical education and research to provide every level of health services for women—from primary and preventive care to the most sophisticated and innovative specialty services.
Our faculty and staff are committed to the health and well-being of women and their families in our region, nationally and internationally. We embrace new challenges and innovation in obstetrics, gynecology and subspecialty care.
