Duke University offers extended ob/gyn residency training in Global Health core competencies. The 18 month training program includes nine months of course work towards a Masters of Science in Global Health and nine months providing clinical care and conducting mentored research at one of the global sites.
OB/GYN residents who have successfully completed their second year of ACGME-approved training are eligible to apply for the Global Health Residency Program. The Global Health Residency in OB/GYN begins after successful completion of the fourth year of ACGME-approved residency training.
