In this section you will be exposed to resources and lectures that will serve as an introduction for the anti-racist educator.
Goals and objectives for this section:
- Gain a deeper appreciation of the perspectives from learners and faculty who have experienced racism in medicine
- Understand the historical context that underlies racism in the US and how that impacts medicine, health equity and health outcomes
- Learn about microaggressions: how to identify them and why they are harmful for learners
