Duke University was selected as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024 by Newsweek, according to a list published last week.
The university received a rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible five on the list of 1,500 U.S.-based workplaces. Of the 48 North Carolina-based employers on the list, Duke was the only educational institution. Nationwide, 15 colleges or universities were included in the list.
With roughly 45,500 staff and faculty members and around 74,000 lives touched by its benefits, Duke offers a range of benefits that meets the varying needs of its workforce. That includes providing comprehensive health coverage, evolving with the changing work environment and offering competitive educational benefits and professional development opportunities.
