On June 16, Matthew D. Barber, MD, MHS, MSOD, former chair and current Duke Health Integrated Practice president, was honored with a portrait unveiling in Baker House on Duke’s campus. Dr. Barber served as the fifth chair of the department (2017-2025), and his portrait will hang in Baker house, along with those of former chairs F. Bayard Carter, MD; Roy T. Parker, MD; Charles B. Hammond, MD; and Haywood Brown, MD.
