MFM Division to Direct Key Coursework at SMFM 38th Pregnancy Meeting

Duke Ob/Gyn’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Division will direct key coursework and present innovative seminars at the 38th Annual SMFM Pregnancy Meeting Jan. 29 – Feb. 3, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.

  • Jeffrey A. Kuller, MD will direct the Genetic Diseases: Antenatal Counseling and Diagnostic Strategies course and moderate roundtable discussions on NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) and carrier screening, with participation by Haywood Brown, MD; Tom Price, MD; and Fellow Annalisa Post, MD.
  • Jennifer Gilner, MD, PhD, will present “Understanding Disease by Immune Signature: T Regulatory Cell Dysfunction in Preterm Birth” during the forum “Putting Translational and Clinical Research To Work: New Ideas for the Prediction and Prevention of Preterm Birth."
  • Dr. Annalisa Post will also present an update on recommendations from SMFM, ACOG and ACMG. Andra James, MD, will present information on anticoagulation in the peri-delivery period (Obstetric Critical Care)." Thomas Price, MD, will present an update on preimplantation genetic testing.
