Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?

Duke has the first Women's Health Quality & Safety fellowship in the country!  Duke University has a reputation of advancement in medicine and renowned research.  I jumped at the chance to be trained at this phenomenal institution.

What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology?

The mentors and colleagues here.   It is such an honor to work with those who are so accomplished, yet humble and collaborative. I know I will have the training and tools necessary to be a leader in women's health.

What are your career goals?

To have an impact on the quality and safety of maternal healthcare.  To make safe care easy for my colleagues and decrease barriers to care for women.  Ultimately, I want to help make childbirth the safest possible for all women and their babies!
