Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?

I have been at Duke for both medical school and residency, and I continue to be amazed by the excellent training, research support, and camaraderie. I have a deep respect for Drs. Sobolewski, Song, and Broach, who have already provided me with incredible surgical training and I know will continue to do so. Additionally, the department as a whole is a research power house, and I know that continuing to train here will help me grow as an academic surgeon. I also just love Durham, the people, and everything this growing area has to offer.

What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics & Gynecology?

Honing my surgical and research skills during fellowship! I am also excited to teach residents and be a part of their educational experience.

Research Interests

As the first fellow at Duke University Hospital in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, I plan to help forge a path of research and innovation within the division. My research interests lie in incorporating technology into clinical practice and optimizing surgical care. I hope to attain the knowledge and resources to be an academic physician and researcher upon graduation of fellowship
