Duke MFM fellow James Edwards, MD is the lead author on the study "Chagas Disease Screening in Maternal Donors of Publicly Banked Umbilical Cord Blood, United States" published in the August issue of Emerging Infections Diseases. The paper was selected tas the highlight article for the issue. Phillip Heine, MD and Jennifer Gilner, MD both on faculty at Duke MFM were also authors on the paper.
