Summary: We all have patients with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and other pelvic health issues that seem impossible to treat or even to talk about. Do you find it difficult to diagnose and treat patients with these conditions? There is an exciting course coming to Duke designed for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Advance Practice and Registered Nurses. In the course we will discuss the musculoskeletal system and the impact it has on common pelvic conditions. There will be instruction on basic musculoskeletal system assessment skills, both internal and external. In addition we will discuss how pelvic health physical therapist treat these conditions and how evidence based physical therapy can be of great benefit to your patients. This course will have lab sessions with live models and in depth instruction in proper MSK assessment tech-niques.
