Duke Ob/Gyn's Adopt-A-Room fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake surpassed the Department's goal of $3,650 to cover the suggested $10/night donation from guest families. Most cannot afford to pay it due to their circumstances. Every day, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake welcomes and supports 64 families with seriously ill children. Thanks to a successful campaign over the holiday season, Duke Ob/Gyn exceeded its fundraising goal, raising a total of $4,322 to pay the family portion for more than a year. Every very family who stays in the Duke Ob/Gyn room can rest well, knowing that their night is covered.
