Duke Ob/Gyn Well-represented at AUGS-PFD Week

Duke Ob/Gyn was highly recognized at the recent Annual Pelvic Floor Disorders (PFD) Week conference, presented by American Urogynecologic Society. Cindy Amundsen, MD, received the Best Overall Paper Award for Two-Year Outcomes of Sacral Neuromodulation VS Onabotulinumtoxina for Refractory Urgency Urinary Incontinence. Dr. Amundsen also was honored as the recipient of the Rodney Appell Continence Care Champion Award. Vice Chair for Education Eric Jelovsek, MD’s presentation won the Best Abstract Award.

Matthew Barber, MD, MHS, chair of Duke Ob/Gyn, and Anthony Visco, MD, vice chair for gynecology, also were recognized as past presidents of AUGS. Dr. Barber also presented the debate Sling Selections and What To Do When They Fail!
