Geeta Swamy, MD, and colleague Sallie Permar, MD, PhD (Duke Pediatrics), have been awarded a $400,000 NIH grant as Principal Investigators for a study on the relationship between maternal ZIKV-specific and ADE antibodies, and fetal outcomes. The R21 grant will be used to evaluate zika and other flaviviruses in pregnant women in Brazil and Singapore.
