Medical Students Adu-Kwarteng, Amanah, Salvino Win Ob/Gyn Clerkship Awards

Congratulations to Duke School of Medicine students Kwabena "Kobe" Adu-Kwarteng, Alaowei Amanah and Matthew Salvino, who all have won Ob/Gyn Clerkship "Above and Beyond" Awards for Excellence.

The Clerkship Awards are given by the Duke Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to medical students rotating in Ob/Gyn who have demonstrated excellence and exceeded expectations.

 

Kwabena “Kobe” Adu-Kwarteng

 

Kwabena "Kobe" Adu-Kwarteng received the Ob/Gyn Clerkship "Above and Beyond" Award for Teamwork, in recognition of outstanding skills in the realm of teamwork: respect, communication and ability to integrate and help the team.

 

 

Alaowei Amanah

Alaowei Amanah received the Ob/Gyn Clerkship Bill Meyer Award for Outstanding Patient Care, awarded to students who are observed going above and beyond to provide outstanding care to a patient.

 

 

 

 

Matthew Salvino

Matthew Salvino received the Ob/Gyn Clerkship "Above and Beyond" Award for Application of Medical Knowledge, in recognition of demonstrated excellence in the application of medical knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology.
