Anne Steiner, MD, MPH and Brenna Hughes, MD, MSc, have been awarded a large federal contract through NICHD’s Division of Intramural Population Health Research (DIPHR). Duke joins the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Utah, SUNY-Buffalo, and Research Triangle Institute (RTI) in this network of geographically diverse research sites. The multi-site collaborative team will develop and implement observational and interventional studies focused on the life course from preconception through adolescence as well as specific research areas such as environmental, endocrinological, diet/lifestyle, genetic, dental, and behavioral health.
