Residents Win ACOG Junior Fellow #YearofWellness Challenge

Congratulations to the Duke Ob/Gyn Residency Program, one of the two winners of the ACOG Junior Fellow District IV #YearofWellness challenge (along with George Washington University).

In April, the organization requested submissions of photos that captured how Residents find small moments of peace and happiness. The submissions that received the most “likes” on Facebook won of a $100 prize to be used  for wellness activities.

April’s wellness topic was Finding Small Moments of Peace and Happiness. The program  is part of ACOG’s #YearofWellness campaign. Residents made a picture collage that included clever photos, which was posted on the ACOG Distric IV’s Facebook page.

Additionally, congratulations are in order for Melissa Montoya, MD, new NC Section/ACOG Junior Fellow Vice-Chair. Tatiana Acosta, MD, MPH is the new Chair. Appreciation is extended to Paige Cisa, MD, for serving in leadership roles over the past several years, including Chair.
