Residency Program

Why did you choose Duke for your residency training?

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to complete an away rotation at Duke. The first thing that stood out to me on my first day was how kind and welcoming everyone was to me. This remained true throughout my rotation, and I knew it was where I wanted to train. When the going gets tough, I want to be surrounded by kindness, and that’s why I chose Duke.

What excites you about the residency program at Duke Ob/Gyn?

Serving the Durham community, and being part of the changemakers who are working to close the gap in maternal mortality in the state of NC.

What are your career goals?

I aspire to pursue a fellowship in maternal-fetal-medicine

Describe your research interests/goals:

I am interested in conducting research on the impact of trauma and ACEs on birth outcomes and how that changes between generations of the same family.

What are your hobbies?

I love walking. As long as the sun is shining, I want to be outside walking. I love dancing, rock climbing and watching British crime tv.
