Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?
So many reasons! I am excited about the balance of high volume strong surgical training as well as the depth of training in medical management and chemo/immunotherapies for treatment of gyn cancers. I am also interested in health services research and Duke has nationally renowned faculty working in this space. Finally on a personal note the triangle area is home for me and I am excited to be back near friends and family.
What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics & Gynecology?
Similar to why I chose Duke I am excited for the surgical training and experience treating patients in clinic. I am also looking forward to getting to know and work with the residents as well as my amazing co-fellows!
What are your career goals?
I am currently planning to stay in academic medicine following fellowship and possibly work in GME.
What are your hobbies?
Running, listening to podcasts and going to live storytelling events (The Monti!), sous cheffing for my husband, listening to Bad Bunny (live whenever possible), croissant sampling

Research Interests
The majority of my research in residency focused on endometrial cancer, genetic pre-disposition (namely Lynch Syndrome), and prevention. I am interested in continuing to work on endometrial cancer and genetic cancer syndromes through the lens of health services research.
