What are your educational interests/goals?
I'm the child of Chilean and Cuban immigrants whose first language was Spanish; one of my educational interests has been the mentorship and support of persons from underrepresented backgrounds. At UCLA, my leadership in LMSA, MiMentor, the Lennox Health Fair, Mobile Clinic and the UCLA Immigrant Task Force led to additional opportunities for disadvantaged students and patients in the Los Angeles community. I'm dedicated to the wellbeing of communities of vulnerable women.
