Why did you choose Duke for your residency training?

The people! I felt instantly connected to the residents, fellows, and faculty. I knew this was an amazing group from which to learn every day. I can't wait to train at a program which truly values collaboration, support, and culture.

What excites you about the residency program at Duke Ob/Gyn?

There are so many diverse opportunities in advocacy, global health, community engagement, research, as well as strong surgical training and abortion training. I feel so fortunate I have the privilege of training at Duke University.

What are your career goals?

I have a lot of interests in public health, minimally invasive surgery, and family planning. I can't wait to start my rotations and start exploring how I'd like my career to unfold!

Describe your research interests/goals:

My research typically focuses on gender equity, especially in academic medicine, medical education, and human trafficking

What are your hobbies?

I love hiking with my dog, Ginger, and I'm excited to start exploring North Carolina. Afterwards, you'll definitely find me at brunch or a happy hour.
