Why did you choose Duke for your training?
Quality improvement has been a passion since residency. Fellowship at Duke provides the opportunity to train under leaders in the field of QI and Women's Health and build the skills to positively impact the field of OBGYN throughout my career.
What excites you about the program at Duke Ob/Gyn?
The opportunity to pursue formal training in Quality and Safety initiatives is a truly unique experience in the field of OBGYN which will help define my career. Additionally, the strong focus on mentorship and professional development at Duke will be invaluable as I refine my skills and contribute to meaningful advancements in the field.
What are your career goals?
My career goals include a career in academic medicine with a focus in quality and safety initiatives. I hope to use my training to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence based and effective women's health care. I also hope to serve as a mentor for others interested in the field.
What are your hobbies?
Playing electric bass, surfing, cooking
