Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?

It was apparent during my interview day that the Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at Duke not only offered exceptional opportunities to evolve as a clinician, surgeon and researcher, but also as a member of a strong community that expressed a keen interest in who I was as an individual. This combination, in addition to all that Durham had to offer, solidified my decision to pursue fellowship training at Duke.

What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics & Gynecology?

I am excited by the program's excellence in both basic and Health Sciences research, the variety in surgical training it provides, and its strong sense of mentorship on all levels, from rotating medical trainees to longstanding faculty.

What are your career goals?

At present, I hope to remain in academia and continue working in medical education, in addition to my clinical practice.

What are your hobbies?

In my free time I enjoy watercolor painting and drawing, baking new recipes, hiking and riding my peloton, and have recently embraced my status as a novice birder.
