Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?
I wanted a program where I would not only receive excellent clinical, surgical and research training but also grow overall as a person and member of my community. Very quickly into my first interview, I realized I could find all that an more with the gynecologic oncology fellowship at Duke.
What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics & Gynecology?
I am very excited to work with and learn from the amazing team here at Duke! I truly believe this training will prepare me to provide excellent care of my patients as a gynecologic oncologist and to serve as a mentor and educator for the future generations of medicine.
What are your career goals?
I aspire towards a career as an academic gynecologic oncologist active in research, medical education and service towards the betterment of the lives of my patients and their families.
What are your hobbies?
Running, travel, trying new foods and wrangling my nephew and niece!

At current, I am interested in the identification and treatment of pre- and early-stage gynecologic cancers and possible prevention as well as developments in surgical technologies.
