Why did you choose Duke for your residency training?

As a medical student, the OB/GYN residents, faculty, and staff always made me feel so supported and welcome. This culture -- paired with exceptional clinical training and high patient acuity -- was exactly what I was looking for in a residency program. Plus, Durham has lots to offer: plenty of running trails, amazing restaurants, and ample green space for my dog, Rio.

What excites you about the residency program at Duke Ob/Gyn?

Lots of MFM exposure, learning from some of the best of the best, bonding with my residency family!

What are your career goals?

I hope to pursue a fellowship in MFM while staying involved in medical education. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of MFM and family planning, including fetal diagnosis/genetics, peri-viability counseling, and fetal intervention.

Describe your research interests/goals:

I'm broadly interested in clinical research related to maternal/neonatal morbidity. I'm also interested in policy research as it relates to abortion laws and maternal/neonatal morbidity.

What are your hobbies?

Marathon running, doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to true crime podcasts, trying all the new items at Trader Joe's
