Why did you choose Duke for your residency training?
I chose Duke for its warm community, health policy research initiatives, community advocacy opportunities and great clinical training. I absolutely loved my interview and immediately felt like I had found a community that I wanted to be a part of.
What excites you about the residency program at Duke Ob/Gyn?
I am excited to train alongside a group of driven, compassionate co-residents and learn from the amazing faculty and patients at Duke!
What are your career goals?
I plan to pursue a career in academic medicine, with a strong focus on data science-driven health services/policy research. I am interested in possibly pursuing a fellowship, and I would like to work with underserved patient communities in my future practice.
Describe your research interests/goals:
Health and public policy, insurance research and clinical modeling from large datasets and AI. I would like to continue improving my data science and statistical modeling skills. I would also like to gain more grant writing experience.
What are your hobbies?
I love to run outdoors, try new workout classes (like F45 or Barry's), read and paint! I also always love to try out new coffee shops and restaurants!
