Lisa Barkley, MSN, CNM, has been named director of advanced practice for the DUH/DRH Women’s Services team. Lisa was a registered nurse for six years before completing her CNM/MSN degree from Stony Brook-the State University of New York in 1998. She has been practicing as a certified nurse midwife for almost 25 years and has been at Duke since 2019. Lisa has served as an advanced practice provider co-team lead in Women's Services since 2021. Previously, this role was structured under one director for both Women's and Children's Services. Lisa will develop the new role of director for advanced practice within the Women’s Services line. She will begin her new role May 1 and will continue to provide care for women and their families at DUH/DRH clinical sites.
