Sir'Tauria Hilliard has joined Duke Ob/Gyn as the department's first community engagement and health equity specialist. In this role, she will work closely with Division Chief of Women's Community and Population Health Beverly Gray, MD, and Vice Chair for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Sarahn Wheeler, MD, to conduct a community needs assessment and develop and execute a community engagement and health equity strategic plan. Her responsibilities included fostering increased engagement and continued commitment to the communities that Duke Ob/Gyn serves.
