Amanda has been a women’s health nurse practitioner since 2004 and a certified nurse midwife since 2016. In her career, she has focused on caring for people for gynecologic, preconception, prenatal care, labor, birth and postpartum periods. She loves spending time with her patients and getting to know their unique stories and needs. Caring for patients of diverse backgrounds is what makes her work most meaningful. She lives with her partner and their three children. In her free time, she likes to run, go camping and play the mandolin. She is also learning to quilt. She is very happy to be serving my home community of Durham, North Carolina.
