Elizabeth Livingston, MD (MFM), current President of the North Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (NCOGS), spoke at this week's press conference on the introduction of House Bill 655 / NC Health Care for Working Families.
This bill has been introduced in the NC House as an alternative to Medicaid expansion. The working poor is the target population for this legislation, similar to the Carolina Cares bill that was previously introduced.
