Why did you choose Duke for your fellowship training?

Duke's reputation for excellence in quality education and training, along with its dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, were key factors in my decision. The research opportunities, interdisciplinary approach, and the supportive environment created by the faculty and trainees are qualities that set this program apart. Who wouldn't want to train at Duke?

What excites you about the fellowship program at Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology?

 Everything!

What are your career goals?

I am primarily interested in academic medicine because it allows me to combine my passion for providing patient-centered care and teaching with my interest in research. I believe that being a part of academic medicine offers the resources necessary to individualize the care each patient deserves while fostering lifelong learning

What are your hobbies?

Traveling and learning about lives different than mine, reading fiction and autobiographies, cross-stiching, going to shows (theatre, dance, musicals), visiting art museums, watching independent films, and spending time with my family, mainly our cavapoo Oscar.
