Director of Advanced Practice, Duke Women's Services
Lisa has been a registered nurse for 26 years and has spent the majority of that time in women's health. She pursued her midwifery degree after having an amazing nurse midwife deliver her second, third and fourth child. Those experiences changed her life, and she wanted to offer women that same care. She has been a nurse midwife for 20 years and is honored to be with families during this very important part of their lives. In addition, she provides gynecological care for women throughout the teen to menopausal age group. She has been married for 33 years and has four children and now three grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys running, travel and spending time with her Grandbabies. She joined Duke in 2019.
