Multidisciplinary Benign Urology Research Day Attracts Over 80 Attendees

Multidisciplinary Benign Urology Research Day 2018,  co-sponsored by the K12 Urologic Research Career Development Program (KURe) and the Duke Pelvic Medicine Research Consortium (PMRC), took place on May 11th. More than 80 colleagues from Duke and regional institutions from a variety of scientific disciplines attended. A balance of formal and informal interactions, involvement of clinical and basic researchers, and participation of trainees and faculty took place. The faculty, KURe advisors and mentors, speakers and panelists provided valuable feedback during the poster sessions and a "Lunch with the Experts."
