Residency Program

Why did you choose Duke for your residency training?

As a residency program, Duke checked off all of the boxes that were important to me: high volume, high complexity, exposure to all the subspecialties, etc. But much more importantly, I felt a strong sense of family among the residents and faculty. As a Duke alumna, something I missed while away was the palpable Duke spirit. For everything from sports to medicine there is a love of, pride in and obsession with the institution.

What excites you about the residency program at Duke Ob/Gyn?

I am most excited to be in an environment of diverse and motivated co-residents and attendings who will serve as my mentors, friends and continual source of inspiration. I am confident that the people here will not only help me to discover my ultimate career path but also help me to achieve it.

What are your career goals?

My primary goal is to learn to become a compassionate champion of women’s health and health education. I would also like to incorporate global health into my career but am undecided as to exactly what capacity yet..

What are your hobbies?

Cooking, baking, traveling, swimming, anything outdoors, spending time with friends and family.Research Interests

Describe your research interests/goals:

My research interests are broad; spanning everything from the neural correlates of moral decision making to adapting screening and treatment methods for cervical cancer and other diseases in low resource settings.
