Kaitlyn has been a registered nurse for nine years and has spent the majority of those years specializing in women’s health. She knew from a very young age she wanted to deliver babies. She has been a nurse midwife/women's health nurse practitioner for two years and absolutely loves it. She considers it to be a complete privilege to be a part of a woman's care at every stage of life, and to aid women as they transition into the role of mother during pregnancy, at birth and especially in the postpartum period. Along with specializing in pregnancy and birth she specializes in women's health throughout the lifespan and sees women for all gynecologic conditions as well.
She speaks English and Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoy playing softball, puzzling, exploring the outdoors and playing at the park with her daughters. She is very excited to join the advanced practice providers of Duke University.
